Desde o momento que surgiu a levada na guitarra, a banda sabia que aquele som representava o peso e a mensagem que queriam trazer para o disco, com a força da natureza como algo latente e misterioso que te alimenta. O tema central do novo álbum de Bush é a resiliência da raça humana em meio às dificuldades e isso fica claro no primeiro single, “More Than Machines”.

“No lugar de ser pessimista, este álbum fala das histórias onde sobrevivemos contra todas as probabilidades. A humanidade encontrou um modo de seguir adiante. Acredito que a natureza da vida é lidar com a arte de sobreviver. Somos testados a todo momento, mas continuamos. Nos últimos tempos passamos por guerras, racismo sem fim, desigualdades de gênero, pandemia e tudo junto. Nosso novo álbum vai dialogar com tudo isso”, conta o cantor e guitarrista Gavin Rossdale.
Em mais de três décadas de carreira, a banda tem mais de 20 milhões de álbuns vendidos e mais de 1 bilhão de streams, mas sem perder a vontade de se reinventar. “The Art of Survival” tem produção de Erik Ron (Panic! At The Disco, Godsmack) e colaborações em duas faixas com o compositor de trilhas sonoras Tyler Bates (300, Guardiões da Galáxia).
